March Through the Camera Roll

Happy Wednesday, friends! Here we are, last day of March and Spring is in full swing. March is always a busy month with my birthday and our anniversary – throw in closing on a new house and a few other activities, it was jam packed.

We attempted virtual ballet with Sophia and I’ll be honest – it did not go well. This was her first experience with a class like this and I think it would just have been better to see other kids and do it in person. Since that wasn’t an option, I’m glad she tried it, but we’ll be waiting to enroll her in real classes a little later this year.

I got the cutest sweatshirt from a friends’ boutique and bought stuff for Sophia’s first Easter Basket.

Celebrated my birthday in the best way possible! Lunch with my parents and sister and a wonderful dinner at home with Sophia and Gary! I really hope for my 35th birthday next year (AH!) we can go somewhere…anywhere LOL!

That same week we closed on our new house! We aren’t moving in until mid-May, but we are itching to be in there and make it ours!

We celebrated our anniversary at home with Papa John’s Pizza and roses- seriously so good! It was low key, but it was a beautiful day we got to spend with Sophia too!

I was invited to check out the Hot Wheels drive through experience at Gilette Stadium and truth be told, I think Gary loved it more than Sophia. It was actually really great and with a ticket got you a little swag bag with hot wheels included! If you’re local, it’s going on until April 18th!

I just had to share this picture because I can’t with Sophia’s sweet little face!! We joked she looked like my “babushka” – grandma! The bright side to all these princess dresses is that now she will wear other clothes outside and just the princess dresses at home!

Lots of time outside exploring new places!! Our favorite thing to do during the weekends!

We closed out the month celebrating Passover at my parents house with a really beautiful dinner my mom put together. I’m looking forward to everything April is going to bring…hopefully not too many showers!

You did have a busy March bus so many great things for you all to celebrate! Virtual classes can be so hard for little ones. My guys still struggle with anything virtual, aside from playing games haha. I hope you get to travel for your next birthday!

I can imagine that doing a virtual class like that would be difficult. I don’t even know that I could handle it as an adult lol. Looks like you had a good birthday month!

You guys had a great March! I could definitely see where it would be hard for virtual ballet right now. She is at the age where if it isn’t in front of you, it isn’t interesting. Zoe sometimes loses focus towards the end of her class and this is her second year of dance. And she gets to see her dance friends that go in person on the screen, which is probably more entertaining than just a teacher. I think we are going to send her back in person towards the end of this month. They have a recital in June that I really hope we can participate in this year.

I love monthly phone photo dumps. I haven’t taken a lot of pictures like this lately. Well I have, I just post them on my personal account. But your front door, and flowers are beautiful!

Olivia can’t stand doing ballet virtually, but she LOVES it in person. I bet Sophia will do better when she can go in person!
