Recently Read – Volume 9

Happy Monday, friends! I hope the weekend treated you well. We had some beautiful weather here in Boston and are trying very hard to visit as many parks and playgrounds that are new to us & Sophia before we move later this Spring. I’m getting back into my reading groove of finding books that I just HAVE to finish! I’ve been averaging about 3 books a month and I’m pretty happy with that since I only read before bed nowadays.

The Woman I Was Before || Three women in a new subdivision, the unlikeliest of friends and yet they all don’t know the truth about each other. Each one harboring secrets, but their lives on social media – perfection, so it’s easy to see the blurred line between reality and what they are putting out there. It was a steady read with really good character development and nothing dangerous or scary about the story, just a really good book.

Feels like Falling || I have not read a book that I NEEDED to finish in the longest time! It was SO good! Two women that could not have more different backgrounds, yet seemingly find themselves the exact friend the other person needs. Gray had it all, the husband, the company & the kid, but this summer it’s all different with her husband’s betrayal. Diana has not had the easiest life, she only has one dream and somehow cannot catch a break – that is until Gray gets Diana fired and seemingly owes her. These two women’s stories just suck you in and suddenly you’re done reading and want more!! This is your next read!

Tell Me Lies || If you have audible, this is free with your subscription. Margot is a therapist and has moved past the start of her career where she didn’t do the right thing. Margot knows that all her clients lie to her, but one of them has taken everything she has worked so hard for. The question – is it worth killing over? I was engaged and it was a pretty easy book to listen to.

Right now I’m in the middle of The Wife Stalker and I’m enthralled! What are you reading and loving?

I always look forward to your book posts! I want to read The Woman I Was Before; it sounds very intriguing. I’m almost finished with Love You, Love You Not (free on Kindle Unlimited), and it’s a cute, quick read.

So happy to hear that the weather was nice there over the weekend. Feels like Falling was so good. I loved Diana’s story. Gray, I had to warm up to, she annoyed me at first haha. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely check out the other two books! 🙂
