Happy Monday, friends! I think from the title of this post it’s clear what I’ve been hiding for the last few months! We are thrilled to be welcoming a baby boy into our family this September! I’m just over 19 weeks and with our upcoming move everything has just been going at warped speed. If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I’ve been quite masterful with my angles and hiding the bump that is very much there and has been for a while!
I reached out to Sarah from SDHG Photography to capture some pictures of us at the Arnold Arboretum. These were actually taken on Easter and while the weather was great, I would have loved to have things be a bit more in bloom!
I absolutely adore these photos and that Sophia looks so happy and excited! She tells everyone she meets that she’s going to be a big sister – it’s the sweetest thing ever! Does she get it? Who really knows, but both Gary and I can’t wait to see her flourish in her new role as big sister!
I think I knew the baby was a boy even before we found out because of how different my symptoms were this time around. I had so many more food aversions – I basically only ate pasta and bread for the first 13 weeks. I was also so much more tired this time, but that could be because I have a 2.5 year old that was still super active!
We are over the moon excited and I think I may have found the perfect excuse for not having to do much heavy lifting with our move! Thank you so much for the kind words and warm wishes!

Ahhhh congratulations, and love love love these photos of you guys! And I hear ya on the food aversions – the first trimester was rough with a capital woof with Lil’ Miss. I pretty much could only eat meat, cheese, and carbs. So many of my favorite foods made me say oh to the NO! LOL Glad you’re feeling better, and are glowing momma <3
