Amazon Purchases | May Edition

Happy Wednesday, friends! May was definitely an Amazon heavy ordering month for me! I think when you move, the 2 day delivery is just key and not having to run to the store with every little thing you might need is so helpful. It seemed like every day there was a package being delivered so I’m just going to get right into it!

Flatware Set || I desperately wanted to update / upgrade our flatware and actually have more pieces to eat with. They are sturdy, easy to wash / dishwasher safe and come in 29, 41, 53 and 77 pieces. Quality set for a great price.

Shelf Liner || Pretty self explanatory here, but I lined all our cabinets including the kitchen and bathrooms. They were in fantastic shape from the previous owners and we wanted to keep it that way.

Tide Washing Machine Cleaner || Danielle mentioned these in her post from last month and I picked some up to clean our old washer and new one. I’m embarrassed to say that I haven’t ever thought to do this.

Soft Toe Sandals || I purchased these for Sophia last year in red and they were so comfortable for her that I bought the same pair in white for her this year in the size up. They have good grips on the soles and the toes can still get a little fresh air!

Command Clear Hooks Variety Pack || We are trying to be very specific about the holes we put into the wall so for anything that can be hung on command hooks, that’s what we’re using.

Bottle Brush || I decided to trash our previous bottle brush and just start with a new one here. This is the second one that I’ve purchased and it holds up so well with all the use you put it through.

Unicorn Night Light || Sophia was starting to get afraid of the dark so she asked for a night light. Full disclosure she hasn’t actually wanted to use it in her room yet because she said she doesn’t need it – toddlers, am I right?! But it’s cute and changes colors as well with just your touch. It’s also charged by USB not batteries and has an automatic turn off which I like.

Spanish flashcards || It was really important for me to keep Sophia’s Spanish vocabulary growing. I found this great all encompassing set that has colors, common phrases, numbers and all the basics. I’m not a Spanish speaker by any means, but I do these with her and have no problems.

Expandable Organizer || I returned the original clear organizer that I purchased for our cutlery because it didn’t have enough compartments but this one is great and actually matches the wood inside the drawer perfectly. It’s very sturdy and made really well.

Nespresso organizer || I have wanted this glass organizer for the longest time, but we didn’t have the space before. I wouldn’t say it’s a perfect fit under our cabinets, but it does give us a place to keep most of the pods. Still debating if we will be keeping, but it looks really nice.

Comforter Insert || Maybe I am one of the only people that didn’t know this, but our comforter that I purchased separately was flat and didn’t come with an insert. This is absolute luxury – like sleeping in the air every night. For the price, the quality is superb.

Citronella Candles || The bugs out here are on another level. After our first night of eating outside and proceeding to get bit up, I quickly ordered this four pack of candles. Like all citronella candles, they smell good and these have a pretty white and blue design on the outside.

Short sleeve swing dress || I wanted a few more dresses that are just easy to throw on this summer and this one fits the bill. Comes in 24 colors and patters and is extremely comfortable. Works well with a bump or without one!

Spice Organizer || I needed something to fit in our drawer for all the spices and this works. I was surprised it was a tin / aluminum material, but when the spices are lined up – you can’t tell. While I have a normal size drawer, this doesn’t quite go the entire width but it seemed like that was the case with all of the organizers that I looked at.

Kids Natural Bath Bombs || Bath time can sometimes be a struggle for us, but we are trying to do as many enticing things to get Sophia to enjoy it again. Toddlers can be so finicky! I had a random bath bomb on hand and she loved watching it dissolve so I bought this set and it has little surprises inside for more fun.

Towel Ring || It’s a little strange to me that the two main bathrooms on the second floor don’t have towel rings. I found these great ones and bought two in the polished chrome to match the rest of the finishes. Since it’s the Amazon Basics brand it’s very affordable when comparing it to the ones at Home Depot and other stores.

Dino Bath Bombs || The other bath bombs were such a hit, I ordered these as well and I think I actually prefer these because you don’t know what the surprise is that you’re getting so it’s more exciting. I will say, the water doesn’t turn as blue or as pink with these as it does with the others, but that’s okay.

See, I wasn’t kidding when I said we kept Amazon pretty busy this past month. I’m thinking we’ll have a few more of these heavy purchasing months and then we should be back to normal! What were some of your favorite purchases from this past month?

I can only imagine how much Amazon is coming in handy with the move. Needing all the things. I love the variety and that swing dress is darling.

So many great finds! I need to get that washing machine cleaner. And, those citronella candles would be great for our deck!

I will have to keep that insert in mind, I am wanting to do some new bedding in our bedroom. I always have a citronella candle outside on our deck, bugs are forever trying to ruin the fun, am I right? I have to laugh at your finicky toddler comment. Just when you think you have figured them out, they like to change it up on you! Those bath bombs sound fun. Zoe is a fan of those and the Raw Sugar bubble bath.

Thank goodness for Amazon! I love the drawer organizer; I have actually wanted one of those but am nervous it won’t fit in our drawer. And how cute is the unicorn night light?! πŸ™‚

Command strips are the absolute best! We have used them all over our house! And I also love those bottle brushes. We haven’t’ had bottles in the house for over six years, but we still use those bottle brushes for all kinds of things! The shape is so convenient!

I was late to the Amazon party, but now I don’t know what I’d do without Amazon! Like you, I buy everything on it these days from house stuff to clothes. That dress looks very cute!

We just hired mosquito squad to spray for mosquitos and ticks. Could be a help along with the candles. Believe it or not, tom already got a tick so we felt it’s important to spray.

I got a similar swing dress from JCrew the other day. It’s adorable! I am with on you the dresses. So much easier!
I also ordered our toddler two repeats of last year’s shoes because they were such a hit.

Ooooh so much fun house stuff in May! We had that exact bottle brush with Isabelle and it’s the best one we’ve used. I wish I would have kept it to clean our water bottles, actually, lol. Maybe I’ll have to order another. πŸ˜‰
