Happy Wednesday, friends! I haven’t done a save vs. splurge post in a long time and there are lots of great summer finds that I am loving, but the price tags not so much, so I found a few better suited options for our wallets.
I’m sure you have seen the Prada Raffia tote everywhere, but the price of over $1000 for basically a crocheted bag, not for me, but I could definitely see myself wearing the straw shopper from H&M!
Nap dresses are all the rage – I would say they are mid-range in price, but I have found a few similar options on Amazon that look very similar.
The Gucci Bamboo bag is a revival of a style they produced in the 40’s and it’s coming back this summer. It’s beautiful but not for over $3,000 – Amazon has an eerily good option for $35!
The knotted heel from Loeffler Randall has been an “IT” shoe for quite some time and it’s beautiful, timeless and perfect for any summer occasion. However, if you’re not one to drop almost $400 on shoes, then these similar heels from lulu’s might be a better bang for your buck!
I feel like I’ve been seeing tennis skirts everywhere – whether someone is playing tennis or not. I guess they are the new leggings 🙂 And I am jumping on this trend – already have two skirts! The Athleta ones are great, but Amazon has nearly identical ones for half the cost and way more color options.
I love the shape of the Celine square sunglasses, but not the $450 price tag! With how rough I am on my sunglasses and the fact that the kids could break them at a moments notice, these $15 ones from Amazon are a much better option!

My favorite nap dress dupes are from Belk! They are under $40 and more colorful and fun!
I wanted a pair of those sandals so badly for a wedding I went to a few weeks ago, but I just couldn’t pay that much for them. Wish I would have seen those dupes! When Zoe was younger, I quit wearing designer glasses due to how many of mine died 🙁 Now that I could probably get away with them again, my eye site has gotten worse and I have to wear prescription ones. Go figure, right? The price of the prada tote makes me laugh, you found such a great dupe!
