Happy Monday, friends! Last week and this past weekend was really heavy – not only with how the Supreme Court basically pushed women back 50 years, but also because the kids had yet another bug from school. I am so ready for daycare germs to be gone!! Between pediatrician appointments and urgent care, I was in need of some retail therapy. Since I was heavily pregnant last summer, I didn’t get to enjoy the summer wardrobe and I am more than making up for it this year!
So the first three items are actually things I already ordered from Amazon – tried on and loved! The sleeveless linen jumpsuit is so nice and breathable! I actually had a similar one last summer that grew with my bump. I love the cropped length and it’s cute with either heels or sneakers! The mini flannel dress has the cutest little flare to it and is giving off serious coastal grandmother vibes! The green short jersey dress is perfect to throw on and go – I basically live in these dresses as the temps get hotter.
Admittedly every time I try to order something from Walmart it’s sold out – so they must be putting out some great stuff. I think they’ve really upped their fashion sections and selections! This ruffle trim coverup in white is so perfect for the pool / beach and then grabbing lunch. The structure on this dress looks great – I wish the other colors weren’t sold out, but maybe we’d get lucky in store! I need a new purse like I need a root canal, but I love the twilly detail on this rattan purse and it’s only $15 and in stock!
I don’t think I have found a pair of shorts worth wearing in a very long time, but I especially have not found a pair of jean shorts worth the wear as well. I am just about ready to bite the bullet with Madewell and try their momjean shorts! This blue & white romper is gorgeous and a bit pricey, but I do have Sophia’s birthday & Mason’s birthday that I wouldn’t mind wearing it to. Also, if you have an upcoming vacation, especially to Italy like it seems most of the world is going to right now, this would be perfect! How about a little pink for summer?! I need to have somewhere to wear this dress! I’m equally obsessed with this blue smocked dress!
I have a ton of makeup and skincare items on my wishlist as well – but that’s a whole other post!! What’s on your summer wishlist?

That pink dress is amazing. I have definitely had more luck with clothes at Walmart this year than Target. Some of their brands have surprisingly good quality items and great fit.
