Three Non Transferable Lipglosses To Try

Happy Monday, friends. This was the first weekend that we didn’t have beach going weather, so it was nice to just be around the house, play with some new toys Sophia got for her birthday and get ready for a new week. Any woman that has been wearing masks knows that makeup and lipstick get all over them – that is until you try some kiss proof lip gloss. Pens and lipgloss – my two weaknesses! It wasn’t until my friend Jackie told me about one she tried and I was sold. I’ve tried three different brands and wanted to share my thoughts on each one.

Lipsense Lipgloss in “Blush”

My friend Danielle sells Lipsense Lipgloss and has for years! I’ve watched her videos of how well this lipgloss works and when I talked about trying non transfer lipsticks – she said I got you covered girl! She sent me the starter kit to try in the color “Blush” and I absolutely loved it. So much so that I purchased another color for myself and the starter kit for my mom! The application is easy, but I will say that there is a bit of a tingle when it’s applied. It doesn’t last, unlike the color which did not budge at all all day long. I reapplied the clear gloss and it was as fresh as if I had just applied my lip color. The more pigment you want, the more layers you would apply. If you’ve ever wanted to try Sengence products or lipgloss – I have a 10% discount code with Danielle – Biana10, which is good for any purchase!

All Night Apricot

One of the two colors I picked up from Target. This is “All Night Apricot” by Maybelline. You definitely want to wait a few minutes for the color to set before applying the conditioner to seal the color. I also only apply in one direction and give it 3 coats. I think it held up really nicely but doesn’t stay 12 hours like it claims, it’s at least 6 which is still pretty good and I was impressed. I like to keep the conditioner pretty fresh and reapply every couple hours, so that it keeps the color from flaking. Of all the colors I’ve tried, this one was my favorite.

Medium Warm

This Medium Warm shade by Covergirl is very similar to the Lipsense color, but is very different in consistency and staying power. I apply it the same way I did with the Maybelline gloss, but what I liked more about this one is that you can take the moisturizer that seals the color in and gives the gloss effect with you on the go. This one flaked a little less than Maybelline and lasted a little longer too. Definitely going to pick up more colors in this range!

Am I ready to give up my other glosses or lipsticks – not quite yet, but having these non transfer colors on hand is great when I’m wearing my mask outside for errands and I especially love that I never have to reapply after ! Also, I only realized that I have the same head tilt in every photo after I finished this post – clearly favoring a side!

Have you tried any non transfer lipsticks or glosses in the past?

First off, I love the changes you’ve made on the blog! The layout is clean and fresh and I love the new logo, too! We managed to go to the beach on Friday, since Eddie took off for a long weekend. He insisted that at least one day we’d have to go and thankfully, Friday worked. Saturday we tried, but had to leave early because it was so windy. This weather is so wacky. We lost power for roughly 3.5 days when storm Isais hit. I’m not at all ready for fall. Anyway, I love all the colors on you. I haven’t tired a kiss proof lipstick in a really long time. It makes perfect sense for preventing smudging and transferring onto a mask. I’m not familiar with Sengence; I’ll have to check it out. That color is so pretty! I also love that top you’re wearing in that photo! Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great start to the week, girl!

LOVE all of your lip colors! The weather was kind of crummy here too so it was a pretty laidback weekend!

That last color is absolutely gorgeous on you! I’m such a fan of all CG products, so I’ll have to pick that up next time I’m at Target.
